VERTEBRO-BASILAR NERVE ABLATION TO TREAT LOW BACK PAIN

Recent research has shown that vertebral bodies can be pain generators for chronic low back pain. In 2003 and 2011, subsequent research has shown that the vertebro-basilar nerve mediates pain from vertebral bodies. We are now able to offer raidofrequency ablation of this nerve and successfully treat vertebrogenic low back pain.
